Guardian® Dielectric Mirror
Guardian® Dielectric Mirror
Guardian Dielectric Mirror is an advanced coated glass for dual-function mirror and display applications. It can be seen clearly when the screen is on and functions as a mirror with all its beauty and functionality when the screen is off.
Mirror hiding the screen
Guardian Dielectric Mirror is an innovative coated glass used in dual-function mirror and display applications such as concealed bathroom televisions or commercial display cases. When turned on, the screen is visible behind the mirror. When turned off, the mirror reappears. This gives designers the freedom to innovate using electronic features and visual effects.

More than just a mirror
Guardian Dielectric Mirror is available in two versions. DM 60/40 is ideal when priority should be given to the mirror. It can reflect 57% of light and has a light transmittance of 41%, making the screen fully visible when turned on.
Screen from behind
DM 30/70 is the ideal solution for framed TV designs. The size of the television is usually equal to the coated mirror, so the screen function is often the most important point. As a result, DM 30/70 reflects 29% of light and has approximately 69% light transmittance.

Enhanced in many ways
Guardian Dielectric Mirror can be enamelled, thermally processed, laminated, and painted. It is also available in different thicknesses and sizes on Guardian ExtraClear®, Guardian UltraClear®, or Guardian LamiGlass ExtraClear® glass.
